Hot Air Ballooning

Hot Air Ballooning Service is a fully licensed operator and approved by the Sri Lanka Civil Aviation Authority and relevant ministries. They own and operate 2 balloons (made in UK) with the total capacity of 26. Registrations are 4R-ULR (16) and 4R-BLN (10). We are fully insured by Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation. Our pilots and ground staff are fully qualified and highly experienced. All have many years of experience. All of our pilots hold Commercial Balloon Pilot License and Validation certificates issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka.

Flight Area and Timing 

Take Off Place: Kandalama / Dambulla Flight Area: Dambulla-Kandalama-Sigiriya depending wind direction.
Take Off Time: Around 06:00 Flight Duration: 1 hour (+/- 10 min. depending on weather and terrain)

Pick Up Time: Kandalama: 05:30 , Dambulla: 05:15, Sigiriya & Habarana: 05:00 (may vary depending on hotel location)
